Web Music Library respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights over your data.
1. What we collect
- Account info — name, email, profile picture (via Google Sign-In) or phone number (OTP)
- Subscription info — plan, billing cycle, renewal date, Razorpay payment identifier (never card numbers)
- Usage data — songs you favorite, playlists you view, tracks you play
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, session cookie
2. Why we collect it
- To create and secure your account
- To process subscription payments and send receipts
- To personalise the Service (e.g. show your saved favorites)
- To send transactional emails about your subscription
- To improve the Service based on aggregate usage
3. Who we share data with
- Google — for Sign-In authentication
- Razorpay — for payment processing (they collect card/UPI details directly, we never see them)
- Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting
We never sell your personal data to advertisers.
4. Cookies
We use a single session cookie (and equivalent local storage) to keep you signed in. We do not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies.
5. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. On deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days (except payment records legally required for tax purposes).
6. Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for future processing

7. Security
We use HTTPS across the entire Service, hashed session tokens, and do not store any card or UPI credentials on our servers.
